What gets deleted
- Your account and login
- Your learning profile — languages, level, goal, streak, progress
- Your saved corrections and your session history
- Your stored conversations, and every message in them
- The notes Voluble kept about things you mentioned in conversation — your name, your job, your situation
- Your waitlist entry, if you had one
When
Straight away, from your side. You're signed out everywhere, you can't sign back in, notifications stop, and you come off the waitlist the moment you confirm.
The data itself is held — unreachable by anyone, including you — for a short window, then permanently erased. We'll tell you the exact number of days when you confirm. That window is a safety net, not a loophole: if someone got into your account, or you clicked this by accident, it means we can still put it back. Once it's up, nobody can, including us.
What we keep
Purchase records, which we're required to keep for tax and accounting. They contain no name, no email, and no conversation content — only that a transaction happened. Analytics that can no longer be linked to you aren't deleted because they're no longer about you.

Cancel your Voluble subscription first, if you have one.
Deleting your account here does notstop the billing — your app store owns that subscription, not us. Cancel it in Google Play or the App Store before you delete, or you'll keep being charged for an account that no longer exists.
